New Large Size Metro Phoenix Wall Map
Has Latest Updates

Phoenix Mapping Service, the publishing division of Arizona based Wide World of Maps, Inc., has just completed a major update of their Metropolitan Phoenix Streets Wall Map. The large 74" x 68" color wall map shows updated highways, streets, city limits, parks, golf courses, schools and much more.

The digitally prepared and updated Phoenix Wall map covers from Fountain Hills and Apache Junction on the east to Avondale and Surprise on the west; and from New River on the north to Sun Lakes on the south. The wall map covers over 2000 square miles and includes 27 cities and towns.

Every year Phoenix Mapping Services makes thousands of changes to maps of the metropolitan Phoenix area. These include new sections of freeways, new subdivisions with hundreds of new streets, name changes, new parks, golf courses, shopping centers, fire stations, post offices, stadiums and more. That means there are literally thousands of reasons to get a copy of the updated 2003 Phoenix Metropolitan Streets Wall Map.

Having a large-sized wall map with this much detail is important for government services and businesses that deliver to homes or offices, as well as construction companies and utility, real estate, home services and repair companies. The wall maps are useful tools that help with planning, transportation, routing, marketing and customer service. Since these maps are often displayed in offices, meeting rooms and hallways, it is also important that they look good. The attractive pastel colors, clear fonts and cartographic styles used to produce the wall map are suitable for any office décor. These wall maps can even be mounted on pin-boards and framed for greater function and a more professional look.

"We make our maps with commitment to helping users get where they're going, the right way, the first time," says Bob Cournoyer, senior cartographer at Wide World of Maps. Keeping the Phoenix Metropolitan Street Wall Map current has been a full-time job for Cournoyer since 1986. "This is the only map of metro Phoenix that's updated on an ongoing basis and published every year. We're certain it's the most accurate maps of the Valley that you'll find."

The accuracy of the 2003 Phoenix Metropolitan Street Wall Map is a source of pride for Wide World of Maps, and its users. While the primary information comes from such official sources as the Maricopa County Recorder's office, various city planning, zoning, and parks and recreation offices, school districts and aerial photos, some of the best information comes from users themselves. Over 100 users recommended changes and updates last year alone. The user information is always researched to determine that it is authentic and accurate before a change is made to the maps. Because of that attention to detail, Phoenix area businesses realize having the latest edition of the Phoenix Metropolitan Streets Wall Map is not an expense but an essential part of doing their work efficiently.

The 2003 Phoenix Metropolitan Street Wall Map is available now for $196.95 ready to hang, $216.95 with zip codes. Wide World of Maps Gallery stores are located at 2626 W. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix and 1444 W. Southern Ave. in Mesa. It can also be purchased by calling Wide World of Maps at 602-279-2323 or 800-279-7654, or visiting their website at www.maps4u.com.
