New Metro Tucson Street Atlas Includes Thousands of Updates and Additions PHOENIX Produced by Wide World of Maps of Phoenix, this street atlas, with its familiar bright yellow cover, is used by tens of thousands of drivers in and around Tucson. Emergency personnel, delivery drivers, taxi drivers, and a wide variety of local businessmen have relied on the atlas for 27 years to help them navigate around the 2,000 square miles of metro Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, South Tucson, Green Valley, Sahuarita, Catalina and other area communities. The latest street and road information can be expected in the 2004 Tucson Metropolitan Street Atlas. But there is more including: maps of Mount Lemmon Recreation area and Saguaro National Park, new golf courses, schools, parks and fire stations, an enlarged detailed look at recent changes in downtown Tucson and an enlargement of Tucson International Airport (with current airline information) and one for the University of Arizona campus. The atlas also contains a comprehensive alphabetical street index that lists the location and map reference to more than 10,000 streets. Users will also find an easy-to-read zip code map and a large 17" x 22" full-color fold-out map showing major streets is included as a special bonus. The accuracy of the 2004 Tucson Metropolitan Street Atlas is a source of pride to Wide World of Maps and its users. While the primary information comes from such official sources as the County Recorder's office, various city planning, zoning, and parks and recreation offices, school districts and aerial photos, some of the best information comes from users. In the back of each copy of the Yellow One, are Suggestion and Comment cards. Cartographer Larry Bakke explains that about 100 cards are received every year from atlas users recommending changes and updates. Our users give us the edge over other map makers. We take that information, research it, and make necessary updates. We're also local and that makes a difference, because we are closer to the information and the users of our maps. Its such attention to detail that cause area drivers to realize that having the latest edition of the Tucson Metropolitan Street Atlas is as important as a regular oil change. The 2004 Tucson Metropolitan Street Atlas is available now for $18.95 at map stores, most office supply stores, book stores and blueprint shops. Wide World of Maps stores are located at 2626 West Indian School Road in Phoenix and 1444 West Southern Avenue in Mesa. It can also be purchased by calling Wide World of Maps at 800-279-7654, or visiting their website at www.maps4u.com. About Wide World
