Nicaragua is rapidly gaining popularity as a travel destination. This map is invaluable for visitors. It provides a travel reference map of Nicaragua, a city map of Managua, Nicaragua, color photographs, and an alphabetical place names index.
Not only is it the only map of the nation, but it has been soundly researched by a team of American aid workers (who were frustrated at repeatedly getting lost) and with strong support from the Nicaraguan tourism ministy. As the country's infrastructure improves we hope to add even more information as it becomes available, but the map is very good as is. This nation is still in the early stages of tourism infrastructure development, and it will need the input of serious travellers to make this map better in the future.
