Senegal (Including Gambia) Folding Map (ITMB)
International Travel Maps is proud to release the latest edition of their Senegal Travel Reference Map. This small but progressive country in West Africa has created several park reserves in the eastern part of the country, which are delineated on the new map. There are also cosmetic updates and a new cover; printed on paper. It seems hard to believe that this country’s map has now sold more than 20,000 copies! It includes a Precipitation / Aridity chart, travel guide and history sidebars, color photgraphs, and inset maps of Dakar & Central Dakar (Senegal), Ile de Goree, and Banjul (Gambia).
The legend includes: international and district boundaries; national parks and reserves; railroads and ferry routes; primary paved roads, paved road under construction, secondary all season road, tertiary seasonal road, and other roads and tracks; point-to-point distances in kilometers; rivers, streams or creeks, intermittent streams, mangroves or swamps, salt pans, ports, lighthouses, ferries, bridges, beaches, and wells; hypsographic elevation in feet; international and national airports, aerodromes or landing fields, and train and bus stations; gasoline stations; embassies; customs posts, border crossings, and places with no border crossing; hospitals or medical facilities; post offices; police stations; phone boxes; information centers; banks; points of interest and scenic points; museums and ruins or archaeological sites; lodging, hostels or RIT huts, and campsites; churches and mosques; schools or universities; and demography by national capital, urban area, city, large town or small city, town, and village.
