Woods Canyon Recreation Map (EarthTracks)
Woods Canyon is an unique recreation map featuring four USGS 7.5' topographic maps as the base data, O W Point, Porcupine Ridge, Weimer Point, and Woods Canyon. That data is then revised using the USFS Sitgreaves National Forest and Tonto National Forest maps and other governmental and local sources. Finally it is printed at an easy-to-read scale of 2” = 1 mile (1:31,680).
These maps have all the information you need: campgrounds with facilities, picnic areas, & trailheads; mines or prosepects, and shafts, tunnels, or caves; lookout towers; fishing spots and wildlife managment unit numbers and boundaries; elevation by contours, elevation markers, and spot elevations; perennial streams, intermittent streams, lakes, intermittent ponds, and springs; paved highways, improved highways, unimproved roads, jeep trails, and hiking trails; state highway numbers and Forest Service road numbers; star-to-star road milage and plus-to-plus trail milage; and township, range, and section numbers.
